Information for Performers

The Shielbridge Hall stage area, which is about 6.5 metres wide, is lit with four spotlights and the back and sides of the stage are screened.

The hall can be hired at the rates listed elsewhere on this website for performances. Bookings should be sent using attention by email to the address below.

An alternative which may be considered is for performers to use the hall free of charge and split the takings with the hall. If you wish to discuss this contact us by using the links below.

Audiences come from all over Ardnamurchan peninsula, that is the area roughly bounded by Glenuig and Roshven to the north, Kilchoan to the west, and Ardgour to the east. There are around two thousand people living here and the numbers increase substantially in the summer with holiday visitors.

“De tha Dol,” the excellent local paper is read by virtually everyone on the peninsula and is the ideal publication to advertise any any show or gig. It appears each month and the last date for submissions is the third Thursday of each month at dethadol@btinternet.com - or write to De tha Dol, Strontian Argyll. PH36 4HZ. They will usually take feature text as well.

Posters sent to the Hall committee will be distributed in the area and posted up in appropriate places.
